Back in 2012 Orbital played a seminal set at the first ever edition of The Lab LDN. It launched the series in style and we never looked back. This week we’re feeling excited and emotional to welcome them back to the party, this time to perform live. They return upon a special milestone of their own, with Friday marking the release date of ‘Monsters Exist’, the duo’s first new album in six years. Inspired by the tensions of the international political climate from across the past few decades, the title refers a reflection on the world’s monstrosities, from unsavoury individuals to personal demons. The 9-track album features an apocalyptic monologue from Professor Brian Cox and arrives fronted with artwork John Greenwod, who painted the covers of ‘Snivilisation’ and ‘In Sides’ in the mid-90s.
