The RME ADI-2 Pro FS is a two channel 24-bit / 768kHz AD / DA converter and USB 2 Digital Audio Converter, audio interface and high-end headphone amp with new jitter rejection SteadyClock FS technology.
The RME ADI-2 Pro FS is the most flexible converter available with balanced and unbalanced I / O, two headphone outputs, DSP-based signal processing and RME's latest Steady Clock FS jitter rejection technology. It offers Class Compliant USB compatibility, sample rates up to 768kHz as well as DSD record and Direct DSD playback.
It boasts a raft of analogue and digital I / O, including two servo-balanced analogue XLR / TRS Jack inputs, two separate balanced and unbalanced outputs on XLR and TS as well as two headphone outputs. Digital I / O include optical ADAT, Optical and coaxial SPDIF and AES accessible via a breakout cable.
Furthermore, its Class Compliant UAC 2 USB 2.0 port offers iOS compatibility and is necessary for firmware updates. It can also work as a 6-in / 8-out audio on Mac OSX and Windows via WDM and ASIO.
Using the latest in A-to-D technology the ADI-2 Pro FS offers best possible sound with highest signal-to-noise ratio, super low THD and noise. It supports sample rates up to 786kHz PCM and DSD recording in dual mono design, with 3dB improved signal to noise ratio. Two digital-to-analogue converters are used for the separate stereo outputs. The latest Integrated Sample Rate converter takes care of clocking issues between S / PDIF and AES thanks to RME's latest SteadyClock FS technology.
A high-resolution display shows controls for the ADI-2 Pro FS unique features including DSP effects like 5-band parametric EQ, binaural crossfeed, adjustable loudness filter, selectable AD / DA filters and four analogue reference levels. Furthermore, M / S processing is provided with stereo width control as well as phase loop. The display also shows RME's famous Spectral Analyser and 30-band bi-quad filtered analysis tool.
