Revolution 2x2 is a next generation audio interface from Black Lion Audio featuring two sublime microphone preamps, USB-C bus powering, a recording software suite, plus proprietary clocking and noise reduction technology.
A big cat cut above
The Revolution 2x2 from Black Lion has been built with sound at the very forefront of its design. While some products may help get a demo out, Revolution will take users all the way to a finished record. This is thanks to its carefully selected conversion chips, chosen through years of testing and comparison to achieve a sound akin to professional studio converters residing in a far higher comparative price bracket.
In-house clocking / noise tech
Revolution utilises the power two proprietary Black Lion technologies. Macro-MMC has been developed over the years to get the most from BLA modded interfaces and, more recently, Black Lion's own range of MicroClock outboard pro audio products. Meanwhile, thanks to their range of Power Grid conditioners, Black Lion also draw on PG-i technology to achieve an incredibly low noise floor while the Revolution is in operation, even avoiding contamination of noise from other neighbouring pieces of gear.
Software
Black Lion have partnered with some of the biggest name in pro audio software to bundle a perfectly curated suite of apps and plugins with the interface to get any songwriter, engineer or production artist started with Revolution 2x2 right out of the box.
The bundle includes Presonus's Studio One Artist DAW, featuring unlimited tracks and 3rd party plugin support enabled, IzoTope's Elements Suite, BrainWorx BX Digital and Lindell's 6X500 analogue preamp emulator.
