The Interstellar Radio is the first module from Schlappi Engineering, providing complex chaotic sounds via modulation and demodulation stategies borrowed from radio transmission technology. Acting as a complex noise oscillator or processor for external signals, the Interstellar Radio is an intense way to take one's signals to space and back.
Based on techniques involved up and down conversion to and from high frequency pulses, the Interstellar Radio functions similarly to a lo-fi radio transmitter and received all in one module. Capable of peculiar error-ridden FM and ring mod effects, this module can function using its own built-in oscillators or as a processor for external sounds, imparting its brutal aliasing, distortion, and harsh modulation effects onto any sound.
