Born in South Africa’s Eastern Cape and influenced by the pioneering musicians around him, Heavy-K moved to Johannesburg at just 21 to pursue a career in production. Siqula has spent the past decade finding his niche and now specialises in blends of Afro house, amapiano, and percussive tracks that first landed him the title of ‘drum boss’ all those years ago.
